Martin Lawrence Announces "Bad Boys 3"

11 years after Bad Boys 2, Martin Lawrence and Will Smith are teaming up for the third installment in their popular shoot ‘em up series. During a predictably hilarious appearance on Conan last night, Lawrence confirmed what we’ve all been waiting to hear by announcing that Bad Boys 3 is in the works. The 49-year-old actor revealed that he spoke with Jerry Bruckheimer (producer of the first two Bad Boys) this week, who said that the project is “real” and a script is close to completion.

Now, there’s been talk of Bad Boys 3 happening for a few years already, with Martin dropping hints as early as 2011, but this is the most promising development so far. Bad Boys for life. Word to Puff.
